A beautiful sunflower growing in our garden. The sunflowers are called Helianthus annuus in Latin and they are annual plants.

Hi Michael,

A nice easy-on-the-eye site! I like your images and wanted to know what camera you used to get these stunning shots... I have tried in vain with my camera and it doesnt do half as good a job as yours! I will return back for an answer....

Hi Russel, thanks for the comment and I must apologize for the delay in posting a response. The camera that has been in use will no longer be used since the autofocus has ceased to work, but don't worry we have purchased a new camera!

The old camera that has been used was a Sony Cyber-shot DSC H5 which isn't available for purchase anymore. Out new camera is a Sony DSLR-A330 with which we actually can switch lenses and actually use old (Sigma) lenses from a previous used camera before digital photo became such a success.

We're hoping that the new camera will give us even better pictures :)
